Katie is a public sector leader with a proven record in driving success through partnerships and collaboration, building robust relationships and networks across the public sector and community. She holds General and Emergency Nursing qualifications attained through Flinders University in SA and an Executive Master of Public Administration thought the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) and Monash Uni.

With 25 years experience in South Australia's health sector, Katie has made significant contributions across a range of nursing roles, including emergency departments, general wards, and aged care in both regional and metro settings. Her extensive background encompasses clinical leadership, where she has spearheaded major system changes such as hospital redevelopment projects and the implementation of electronic medical records (eMR), and system level strategic leadership applying systems thinking to the most complex challenges faced by service providers.

Katie is passionate about workforce wellbeing, environmental suitability and equity and doing better to improve these across the boundaries of government entities in the delivery of all public programs.
