Shaping the curriculum of health professions to prepare students for the care of older people

The University of South Australia welcomes you to a workshop with Dr Connie Evashwick, Fulbright Scholar, ScD, LFACHE

About this event

The workshop will include a panel and conversation and is an opportunity to discuss:

  • Current curricula in SA and interstate and how to shape future curricula for medical, allied health and nursing professionals to best prepare students to care for their future patients, more than 50% are likely to be age 65 or older
  • Health equity and social determinants of health in relation to aged care provision and student curriculum
  • An analysis of San Diego Health, which has over 20 years of experience of successfully tackling health disparities through a multi-partnership approach
