Centre for Health in All Policies Research Translation

Originally launched as a flagship program of Health Translation SA, the Centre for Health in All Policies Research Translation (CHiAPRT) is now an affiliated centre of both Health Translation SA and the University of Adelaide. Located at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), CHiAPRT focuses on fostering collaboration between policymakers, researchers, and academics at local, national, and international levels. The Centre aims to enhance the translation of multi-sectoral research to drive positive societal outcomes.

CHiAPRT works across a range of public policy areas, including housing, environment, employment, food, social support, and the built environment—the underlying key determinants of health, wellbeing, and equity.

By bridging disciplinary and sectoral gaps, the Centre promotes collective action to translate research into policy and practice, contributing to meaningful change.
